Storage & Consolidation Policy

Understand how free storage, consolidation, abnormal parcels, storage fees and long-term unclaimed goods are handled.

Storage rule

Storage time starts when each parcel is marked as received in warehouse.

For multi-supplier orders, each parcel may arrive on a different date. Counting storage from each parcel's warehouse receiving date is clearer and fairer.

0–7 daysApproved consolidation orders may receive up to 7 days free storage per parcel after the parcel is marked as received.
Up to 14 daysFor active multi-supplier orders, free storage may be extended up to 14 days when the buyer is actively waiting for remaining parcels and the shipment is moving forward.
Up to 30 daysPaid sourcing or managed purchasing projects may request extended storage up to 30 days by approval.
After free periodStorage fees may apply based on parcel count, size, weight, volume, storage days or actual warehouse cost.
Long-termIf the buyer does not respond, pay fees or provide shipment instructions after repeated reminders, goods may be treated as long-term unclaimed goods under storage and disposal rules.
Abnormal parcels

Some parcels require buyer confirmation before storage, return or shipment.

Abnormal parcels may include damaged goods, missing customer information, suspected prohibited goods, unsafe packaging, abnormal weight/size, quantity mismatch or seller error.

Buyer confirmation

Abnormal parcels may require written instruction before consolidation, return, disposal or shipment.

Storage fee may apply

If the issue remains unresolved after the free period, storage fees may continue to accrue.

Separate quote

Oversized, fragile, high-value, sensitive or long-term storage goods may require separate review and storage quote.

Important Fee Notice: Not every amount paid by the buyer is our service income. Product costs, supplier charges, payment processor deductions, shipping fees, warehouse costs, inspection fees, customs-related charges, taxes, duties and other third-party costs may be non-refundable unless the relevant third party actually refunds them to us. Read Pass-through Costs & Third-party Fees.
Receiver information responsibility: The buyer must verify receiver name, country, state/province, city, street address, apartment/unit number, postal code, phone number, email and tax/customs information if required. Delay, return, extra fees, failed delivery or loss caused by incorrect or incomplete buyer-provided information may be the buyer’s responsibility. Read the Buyer Order Guide.
